Wellington Management is seeking a Trust Manager in the Boston area to oversee fiduciary governance, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional initiatives across investments, legal, compliance, and operations.

The role emphasizes independent leadership, hands-on problem solving, and steering fund operations, risk management and strategic projects within the Wellington Trust and related vehicle structures for client alignment and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in asset management, trust/fiduciary services, fund operations.
• Experience with commingled vehicles and regulated fund structures.
• Familiarity with ERISA, OCC and SEC regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and risk assessment.
• Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder influence.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead fiduciary oversight of trust vehicles and regulatory adherence.
• Coordinate materials for committees and boards.
• Monitor investment guidelines and regulatory obligations.
• Elevate risks and regulatory developments.
• Support fund launches, structural changes and product enhancements.
• Contribute to strategy, growth and operating model improvements.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and projects.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and onboarding processes.
• Review contracts and fund documentation.
• Provide governance, risk management and process controls.
• Ensure capital adequacy of Wellington Trust entity.
