Job summary

Bourse Trust Company Limited is seeking a Senior Trust and Company Officer to lead complex administration of trusts and corporate structures, ensuring governance, regulatory compliance and risk management.

You will mentor junior staff, manage key client relationships, coordinate take-on and periodic reviews, and drive timely reporting and effective controls.

The role requires five years in trust and company administration and a relevant professional qualification is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of A-levels or equivalent; a degree in law, business, finance, accounting is advantageous.
• A relevant professional qualification (STEP, CGI/ICSA, ACCA or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
• Typically at least five years of trust and company administration experience in fiduciary or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of fiduciary principles, corporate governance, and AML/CFT framework.

Responsibilities

• Take primary responsibility for a complex portfolio of trust and company structures, including establishment, ongoing administration, restructurings, and terminations.
• Review documents and client instructions to identify fiduciary, legal, tax, commercial, and reputational considerations before action.
• Prepare minutes, resolutions, trustee decisions, reports and correspondence with proper audit trails.
• Coordinate meetings and transactions, oversee asset acquisitions/disposals, investments, distributions, loans, and other payments with timely authorization.
• Maintain accurate statutory, accounting, tax and administration records and ensure periodic reviews and filings are completed on time.
• Manage cash requirements, fees, debtors and service-provider activity across the portfolio; liaise with investment managers, banks, accountants, lawyers, tax advisers.
