Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related field.
• 10+ years in transportation management, with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of drayage/intermodal, port and rail ramp operations.
• Familiarity with FMCSA/DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements.
• Experience with TMS and dispatch software.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication; bilingual English and Korean.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate a team of drayage drivers and support staff, managing daily assignments and workload.
• Oversee container pickup and delivery operations between intermodal ramps, the Port of Savannah, and customer facilities.
• Monitor driver performance, HOS compliance, and safety records; conduct coaching and performance reviews.
• Partner with dispatch to optimize load planning and minimize empty miles and detentions.
• Track and report on key metrics like on-time performance, turn times, chassis utilization, and per-load profitability.
• Serve as primary escalation point for driver issues, equipment breakdowns, and delivery exceptions.
• Ensure DOT/FMCSA safety policy compliance; support safety training and investigations.
• Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training new drayage drivers.
• Design and execute strategic plans aligning operational and financial objectives.
• Prepare and manage the annual budget and monitor expenditures.
