Job summary

Stefanini Group is seeking a Contract Technical Support Engineer based in Greensboro, NC, with a flexible report-to option to Greensboro, NC or Hagerstown, MD. The role offers a pay range of $48.00–$52.00 per hour and a 12-month contract.

Location is on-site with responsibilities spanning technical assistance, training, and on-site troubleshooting. Responsibilities include resolving complex product issues, performing root-cause analysis, and supporting data acquisition and analysis for truck

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience as Technical Support Engineer.
• Expert knowledge in data acquisition and data analysis for diagnosing truck issues.
• Deep knowledge of Class8 truck powertrain, chassis, and electrical/electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized technical assistance to dealers and stakeholders to resolve complex product issues.
• May provide onsite training for customer support personnel.
• Lead level as a specialist in Technical Support Engineering with extensive field experience.
• Provide technical support and problem solving on issues reported by the market.
• Visit markets and customers to assist when there are reported technical problems.
• Conduct root cause analyses for product quality issues and define containment actions.
