Job summary

Bruckner Truck & Equipment is seeking an experienced diesel technician to diagnose mechanical, electrical, or other failures on trucks and related equipment. You will perform disassembly, repair, and reassembly of engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.

You will read technical publications and service bulletins, use a dealer management system to list parts and document work, and ensure work is completed safely and on time according to standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Ability to read and write English and interpret technical publications and reports.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and other failures on trucks and related equipment.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems.
• Read and interpret service bulletins and technical publications; use dealer management system to order parts and document work.
• Perform work safely and in compliance with OSHA and company rules; maintain equipment and tools.
• Document descriptions of work performed in the dealer management system.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality due to customer service impact.
