Qualifications

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sequences and applications.
• Technical aptitude in mechanical and electro-mechanical fields.
• Able to use hand and power tools and electrical testing equipment like a multimeter.
• Solid knowledge of personal computers.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Licensing requirements for low voltage devices may apply depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Program HVAC control systems and troubleshoot, install, commission and perform preventative maintenance on related components.
• Respond to service and warranty calls using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools.
• Provide frontline technical and repair support to Johnson Controls customers.
• Provide system repair and/or update recommendations and assist in proposing recommendations.
• Be part of a team and document commissioning and changes for as-built records.
• Maintain safety standards and complete required safety training.
