Job summary

Mike Morse Law Firm is seeking a highly motivated Trial Paralegal to support litigation for personal injury cases and serve as a primary contact for clients.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a paralegal, trial experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Word and Adobe Acrobat; auto injury experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Paralegal.
• Substantive trial experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Auto injury experience is a plus.
• Paralegal certificate or formal legal training preferred.
• Must be a self-starter, motivated and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Gather, review and summarize discovery responses and client medical records
• Manage all aspects of attorney day to day trial logistics including witness preparation, trial pleadings, etc.
• Assist attorneys with discovery, litigation files and court preparation
• Draft legal documents and correspondence under attorney direction
• Review case files with supervising attorneys
• Maintain accurate internal databases and case records
• Perform other duties as assigned by the team leader
• Handle overall case management for litigation files.
• performs other related duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
