Frink-Hamlett Legal Solutions in Chicago is seeking an experienced Senior Trial Attorney to defend workers’ compensation matters from inception to resolution. The hybrid role combines two days onsite with three days remote, with travel for court appearances and depositions.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years Illinois workers’ compensation experience (or 7+ for Trial Attorney) and a JD from an ABA-accredited school, with bar admission in good standing.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school required.
• Illinois Bar in good standing required.
• 15+ years of workers’ compensation experience preferred for Senior role; 7+ for Trial Attorney.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in workers’ compensation matters before the court.
• Develop and execute defense strategies based on analysis.
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery.
• Manage all aspects of litigation, including trials and appeals.
• Travel approximately 20% for court appearances and depositions.
• Maintain compliance with professional standards and ethical guidelines.
