Job summary

Allstate is seeking a Senior Trial Attorney to handle bodily injury and property damage lawsuits, including mediations and occasional trials, while providing essential counsel to business units. You will coordinate with the Law and Regulation department to monitor evolving laws and case law.

The role requires strong litigation skills, teamwork, and the ability to work remotely with travel for trials in California as needed. A sign-on bonus is available and employee outreach is supported.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of proven litigation experience or strong litigation-type skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, LexisNexis, and internet research.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to coordinate with attorneys and staff.
• Willingness to travel throughout California for trials as needed.

Responsibilities

• Represent insured individuals and the Company in defense of bodily injury and property damage lawsuits.
• Provide counsel to business clients on day-to-day legal matters.
• Coordinate between legal teams and monitor laws and regulations.
• Manage projects and collaborate with other areas of the Law and Regulation (L&R) department.
