You will own case strategy from filing through verdict, handle first-chair jury trials, and direct depositions, discovery, and settlements with the goal of optimal results for clients.

The role requires 8+ years of litigation experience, Texas license in good standing, and strong leadership plus excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Texas license to practice law in good standing.
• 8+ years of litigation experience, with substantial personal injury experience preferred.
• Some first-chair jury trial experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated strategic judgment and ability to manage a robust docket.
• Strong leadership and team mentoring capability.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with case management software and litigation technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead litigation strategy from filing through verdict.
• Try cases to verdict and manage mediations when carriers resist value.
• Direct discovery, motions, pleadings, and depositions.
• Guide settlement strategy and parameter setting for negotiations.
• Mentor and supervise support staff on the docket.
• Advise clients with clarity and compassion throughout proceedings.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to grow the Texas footprint.
