The ideal candidate has proven trial success with verdicts and sizable settlements in construction accidents, motor vehicle, and premises cases, and extensive experience drafting pleadings, motions, appeals, discovery, and witness disclosures to move cases to trial

Qualifications

• Experience with verdicts and substantial settlements in PI cases.
• Extensive knowledge in litigating complex cases.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, appeals, contracts, discovery and witness disclosures.
• Proven ability to take cases to trial or settlement.

Responsibilities

• Lead trials and negotiations for personal injury matters.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Prosecute cases through to trial or settlement.

Long Island based plaintiff Personal Injury law firm is seeking a Trial Attorney to join a firm that specializes in representing injured people.

• Ideal candidate has experience w/ multiple verdicts and significant settlements in cases ranging from construction accidents, motor vehicle and premises cases.
• Proven Trial Success
• Must have extensive knowledge in litigating complicated cases.
• Previous experience preparing and prosecuting cases to conclusion either by trial or settlement.
• Must also have extensive experience drafting of pleadings, motions, appeals, contracts, discovery documents, expert witness disclosures and correspondence.

Base salary of 300k-350k, plus incentives based on performance.

This role is on-site, 5 days a week in the office.
