Job summary

LHH in Dallas seeks a seasoned litigator to handle high-stakes medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death matters alongside top trial attorneys in a collaborative environment.

You will lead complex litigation from inception through trial, mentor junior attorneys, and work closely with clients, experts, and support staff, with a robust bonus program and long-term career growth. This is a premier plaintiff-side practice.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
  • Minimum 10 years of litigation experience.
  • Significant medical malpractice experience required.
  • Proven trial experience in high-value plaintiff litigation.
  • Extensive experience taking and defending physician expert depositions.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
  • Outstanding communication and client relationship abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex litigation matters through all phases of the case lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute case strategy for high-exposure medical malpractice and catastrophic injury cases.
  • Take and defend depositions, including physician and expert witness depositions.
  • Draft and argue motions, attend hearings, and manage discovery.
  • Prepare cases for mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial.
  • Serve as lead trial counsel in significant plaintiff-side litigation matters.
  • Work closely with clients, experts, and legal support staff.
  • Mentor junior attorneys and legal professionals as needed.
