Job summary

Luzerne County is seeking a Treatment Coordinator to oversee all counseling services and programs within the facility. The role supervises the Counseling Department, develops treatment services, and ensures compliance with state regulations while coordinating with county offices and community partners.

The position involves on-site work, coordinating schedules with security, and leading reentry efforts including coordination of Day Reporting Center and related services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Counseling, Behavioral Sciences or Social Sciences.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least four years of experience providing group and individual counseling and related services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all Treatment Services and the Counseling Department.
• Develop and implement treatment services and programs within the facility.
• Coordinate with county offices and community agencies to provide inmate services and reentry support.
• Act as Grievance Coordinator for inmate grievances related to treatment services.
