Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Senior Treasury Management Segment Risk Manager to lead and oversee risk management programs specific to Treasury Management within a major business segment. You will partner with Treasury Management leadership, acting as a trusted advisor and control advocate across the organization.

The role requires strong experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, and leadership, with a focus on cash management, payments, liquidity, and related Treasury

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a finance-related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Audit, Compliance, Risk Management, Treasury Management, or Operational Risk within financial services.
• Experience in Treasury Management or related financial services functions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of controls and practices specific to Treasury Management processes.
• Direct and monitor self-assessment and testing activities to ensure compliance with Corporate Risk Management requirements and regulatory expectations.
• Oversee identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks related to cash management, payments, liquidity, and other Treasury Management services.
• Escalate critical issues and emerging risks to senior management in a timely manner.
• Partner with business segment leaders to ensure risk management supports strategic and operational goals.
• Collaborate with internal audit, corporate risk, and stakeholders to address findings and implement action plans.
• Act as the central point for risk communications between Treasury Management and Corporate Risk teams.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards within Treasury Management.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks relevant to Treasury Management.
• Perform other duties to support risk management objectives.
