Workday is seeking a Senior Treasury Manager in Pleasanton, CA, to lead the global 13‑week cash flow forecast and strengthen liquidity planning across the company.

The role emphasizes forecast quality, analytical rigor, and cross‑functional collaboration with FP&A, Tax, Accounting, Payroll, and other teams, with an eye toward applying AI tools to improve processes and insight generation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Corporate Treasury, Finance, or a related field.
• Significant experience in cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global rolling 13‑week cash flow forecast, with end‑to‑end ownership for forecast quality, rigor, and continuous improvement.
• Refine forecasting methodologies, assumptions, and data inputs to improve the accuracy and reliability of projected liquidity needs.
• Perform forecast vs actual analysis to identify root causes and improve future forecasting outcomes.
• Develop an understanding of the drivers of cash movements and translate analysis into insights on trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with FP&A, Tax, Accounting, Payroll, AP/AR to gather inputs and improve forecast discipline.
• Provide executive‑level visibility into liquidity shifts to support timely decision‑making.
• Identify opportunities to use AI and emerging tech to improve forecasting efficiency and accuracy.
• Contribute to liquidity management strategy by linking near‑term inputs to operational decisions.
