Job summary

Samyang America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Treasury Specialist (Bilingual - Korean) in Brea, CA to support daily treasury operations including cash management, banking activities, payments, forecasting, and intercompany funding.

The role collaborates with Accounting, overseas entities, and banking partners to ensure accurate cash flow and reporting. The position requires a BA/BS in Finance or related field and 4+ years in treasury or finance operations, with SAP experience and English/Korean

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• 4+ years of experience in Treasury, Accounting, or Finance operations.
• Broad experience using online banking systems for payments and account management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP for treasury, cash management, and financial reporting.
• Experience with overseas bank account management and international/cross-border payments is a plus.
• Knowledge of FX transactions, cash pooling, or intercompany funding is a plus.
• Experience with multinational online banking platforms such as CitiDirect is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Korean required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and process daily payments (bank payment operations).
• Execute wire, ACH, and other electronic payments via online banking systems.
• Manage payment approvals to ensure timely and accurate disbursement.
• Process domestic and international payments, including cross-border wire transfers and foreign currency payments.
• Maintain and update bank account master data and signatory records (bank account management).
• Coordinate with banks for system access, user management, and issue resolution.
• Support bank account opening, closing, and maintenance activities as needed.
• Monitor and reconcile daily cash positions across all entities (cash management & forecasting).
• Forecast short- and mid-term cash requirements based on inflows and outflows.
• Optimize cash utilization and coordinate intercompany funding.
• Utilize SAP and banking systems to monitor cash balances, payment transactions, and cash movements.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly cash flow statements using direct and indirect methods (cash flow statement prep).
• Analyze variances between forecasted and actual cash flows.
