Job summary

Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to focus on Treasury Infrastructure. You will work on the Treasury Optimization and Research Platform, collaborating with Treasury Quant researchers and the Funding Team in a fast-paced, real-time environment.

The role requires strong Python skills, solid CS fundamentals, and the ability to solve complex problems while communicating effectively with engineers, researchers and non-technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Working experience in Python and solid CS fundamentals.
• Familiarity with numerical computing libraries (NumPy, PyTorch, TensorFlow) is a plus.
• Knowledge of global portfolio financing and funding is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with engineers, researchers, and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the engineering design and development of HRT’s Treasury Optimization Platform.
• Collaborate with Treasury Researchers on HRT’s Treasury Research Infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Quantitative Developers and Funding/Finance teams on cash and collateral management.
