Job summary

Ag Workers Mutual Auto Insurance is seeking an experienced Treasurer to join our executive leadership team in Fort Worth. This role reports to the President/CEO and Board, overseeing accounting, treasury, capital management, regulatory reporting, and internal controls.

The ideal candidate combines insurance finance expertise with strategic and hands-on leadership, guiding financial performance and strategic initiatives while mentoring the accounting and finance team.

Qualifications

• CPA license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field.
• 10+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• 5–7+ years in the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of SAP (Statutory Accounting Principles).
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership to Board and executive team.
• Oversee accounting, reporting, treasury, and capital management.
• Lead regulatory reporting and financial controls.
• Develop capital and liquidity strategies aligned with growth.
• Mentor accounting and finance staff and build a strong team.
