Job summary

Power Design seeks a Mechanical Superintendent to lead the field project team, directing production of contracted scope to meet schedule while upholding quality, safety, and customer loyalty.

This senior role requires OSHA 30 preferred, 10+ years of supervision on large construction projects, and an active HVAC or plumbing license. Strong knowledge of building codes and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership and project management skills.
• Experience supervising crews on multimillion-dollar construction projects.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specs.
• Excellent communication with teams, inspectors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead field project team members, evaluate and train staff.
• Plan, organize and direct production of contracted scope.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors and other trades.
• Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and general contractor to resolve conflicts.
• Ensure installations meet quality and mechanical code standards.
• Manage materials and personnel to meet schedule.
• Adhere to standards of quality, safety and best practices.
