Job summary

DBSI seeks a Traveling Construction Superintendent to manage day-to-day operations across multiple sites, ensuring timely completion, quality, and safety. You will supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site teams while maintaining strict adherence to plans and codes.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to coordinate multiple sites during extensive travel up to 75%. A background in commercial construction and OSHA certifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of verifiable experience in commercial construction
• At least 7 years as a Superintendent
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred

Responsibilities

• Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors on the critical build path
• Perform regular inspections to ensure quality and compliance with plans and codes
• Communicate project updates and resolve onsite issues
• Enforce site safety and OSHA regulations; conduct safety checks
• Review RFIs and submittals; keep documentation up to date
• Conduct site walks to monitor progress and identify deficiencies
• Lead on-site team and maintain a productive work environment
• Travel to multiple job sites up to 75% of the time
