Expedia Group in Seattle seeks a Senior Manager, Traveler Compensation Strategy to drive policy across refunds, goodwill offers, credits, and points, aligning with Operations, brands, analytics, finance, legal, product, and technology. You will translate policy into scalable self-service and agent tools while tracking impact.

You will own ROI analysis for major spend, publish a compensation scorecard, and lead cross-functional programs with governance and risk management to improve traveler

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in strategy, customer operations, finance, consulting, loss management, or related fields.
• Led cross-functional work and influenced partners across Operations, brands, finance, legal, product, and technology.
• Led complex programs from strategy through implementation with governance and risk management.
• Skilled in analyzing financial, operational, customer experience, and workforce metrics.
• Able to build trust with senior stakeholders and communicate clearly in writing and presentations.
• Preferred: experience in contact center operations, e-commerce, travel, or related customer-facing environments with AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead traveler compensation strategy and initiatives with Operations and brands, clarifying priorities and outcomes.
• Own compensation policies across refunds, goodwill offers, credits, points, and related treatments.
• Serve as strategic partner for recommendations, governance, and execution with cross-functional teams.
• Own ROI analysis for major compensation spend and loss management initiatives.
• Partner with Product and Technology to integrate treatments into self-service and agent tools.
• Maintain and publish a compensation and loss management scorecard and manage key initiatives on roadmaps.
