Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Trauma Registrar Senior in San Antonio, Texas to provide essential data entry support and maintain the Trauma Registry. This position ensures compliance with state health service requirements and aims at performance improvement in trauma care.

You will manage the Trauma Registry database, analyze data, and participate in trauma-related activities. Candidates should have experience with ICD-10 and AIS coding, along with the necessary certifications. The role is full-time with a work schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Complete Trauma Registry software training within 90 days of employment.
• Accrue 24 hours of trauma-related continuing education during the designation/verification period (3 years).
• ICD-10 course in trauma; renewal required every 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide data entry support for the Trauma Registry.
• Maintain trauma registry records and fulfill state requirements.
• Perform ICD‑10 and AIS coding.
• Analyze registry data for epidemiological reporting.
