Job description

Overview

DCCM is seeking a Senior Transportation / Roadway Engineer to support the design and delivery of municipal and transportation infrastructure projects in our Southern California (Los Angeles area) office. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with approximately 15+ years of experience (flexible depending on qualifications), strong technical expertise, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • This role will focus on roadway and transportation design for local agency and state-funded projects.
  • The successful candidate will be highly proficient in Civil 3D CADD and experienced in preparing roadway design plans, profiles, grading, and cross-sections consistent with municipal standards and Caltrans design criteria.
  • Experience with complete streets, corridor improvements, and coordination with public agencies is desirable.
  • The candidate should be capable of supporting project delivery from preliminary engineering through final design and construction support, while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
