Job summary

STV is seeking a Resident Engineer for our Transportation Northeast department in Hartford, CT. You will oversee and direct construction projects related to highway/bridges, facilities/buildings, or rail/transit projects from conception to closeout, ensuring compliance with contract documents, specifications, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and verifying contractor submissions.

The role requires a PE with 8 years of experience or CCM with 10 years, strong CTDOT CEI process knowledge,

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work on-site as needed.
• Experience on transportation infrastructure projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of CTDOT CEI processes, contract administration, and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of construction materials and methods; ability to perform complex quantity and engineering computations.
