Job summary

GFT in Marlton, NJ is seeking a Project Manager to lead transportation initiatives for the Northeast Region. You will oversee multi-disciplinary teams on projects with NJDOT, NJTA, and PANYNJ, focusing on delivering safe, resilient infrastructure.

The role emphasizes business development, resource planning, and mentorship of junior staff, with hybrid work options. A Civil Engineering degree and NJ PE license are required, with senior experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey.
• Extensive traffic/transportation engineering experience including PM/leadership.
• Experience growing a traffic group in New Jersey.
• Strong knowledge of NJDOT/NJTA/PANYNJ standards.
• Proficient in traffic analysis tools like HCS, Synchro, VISSIM.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and monitor transportation projects from small to large scale.
• Lead recruitment, mentorship, and resource planning for NJ traffic practice.
• Grow GFT's market position with NJ agencies and manage client relationships.
• Lead proposal development and pursuit strategy for major opportunities.
• Ensure quality control, schedule adherence, and financial performance.
