Jacobs People & Places Solutions (P&PS) business is seeking a creative, highly motivated Senior Transportation Project Manager to support, direct, and grow our Illinois transportation business. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of procuring and delivering projects for Illinois transportation top clients. They should be able to lead transportation projects within Illinois and support Jacobs’ East-Central leadership team in the strategic growth of the transportation sector in Illinois.

Responsibilities include:

• Selling Jacobs services as a Senior Project/Program Manager or Senior Project Executive, with established client relationships in Illinois.
• Providing strategic business development leadership, pursuing major transportation opportunities, and maintaining client relationships.
• Managing all phases of transportation projects from initiation to closure, including planning, staffing, budgeting, and quality control.
• Developing concepts for large highway infrastructure projects, including Design-Build and Public-Private Partnerships.
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, supervising design tasks, and participating in industry events to expand professional network.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, licensed as a Professional Engineer in Illinois.
• Significant experience in transportation infrastructure projects, especially with Illinois DOT and Tollway.
• Strong relationships with state and local transportation agencies in Illinois.
• Excellent communication skills and knowledge of Illinois standards and policies.
