Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager- Surface Transportation for immediate employment in San Antonio, TX or Austin, TX. You will lead medium-to-large transportation programs, provide regional technical leadership, and drive project delivery with a focus on safety, ethics, and innovative management approaches.

The role requires a Texas PE license and 10+ years of relevant experience, with preference for TxDOT project management exposure and proven client relationship skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS and 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent demonstrated experience and leadership.
• Texas Professional Engineer license is required.
• Experience leading GEC/PMC projects with TxDOT or similar agencies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage medium to large programs or defined portions of larger programs.
• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for regional delivery.
• Identify high risk areas and take actions to positively impact outcomes.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to pursue new business opportunities.
• Ensure delivery on scope, budget, and schedule through final deliverables.
• Support talent attraction and retention within the area of responsibility.
