Job summary

Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is hiring a Senior Project Engineer - Transportation for our Hernando, MS office to provide quality technical assistance to project teams delivering transportation construction projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree and at least four years of experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office. A signing bonus of $10,000 is offered along with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Four years of experience with direct client interaction preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of response to transportation and construction project representatives.
• Develop and maintain transportation specifications and contract documents.
• Assist in budgeting and scheduling for transportation projects.
• Provide constructability and QA/QC reviews of contract documents.
• Mentor staff and ensure client quality expectations are met.
• Lead the construction review process and manage project documentation.
• Prepare opinions of probable construction cost (OPCs) and related templates.
