Job summary

The City of Tigard is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead transportation CIP projects, from concept through design and handoff to operations. You will supervise consultants and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to deliver on-time, within-scope results.

Qualified candidates will have a civil engineering degree, PE license, and 4+ years of project management experience, with a preference for experience in transportation and trails.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year college degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in project management and infrastructure planning, design, permitting, and administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage large, complex CIP projects from concept through design, permitting, and handoff to operations.
• Coordinate with design consultants, construction contractors, and partner agencies.
• Serve as liaison to agencies like ODOT, Metro, and Washington County on transportation and trail projects.
