Job summary

Huitt-Zollars, Inc. is seeking a Senior Transportation Project Manager with 10+ years of experience to lead the design and management of transportation infrastructure in Texas, based in Dallas.

You will build client relationships, lead pursuits, and deliver projects as a seller-doer. The ideal candidate will have TxDOT project management experience, PS&E leadership, and a track record of winning transportation work.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of transportation design and project management experience.
• Professional Engineer registered in Texas (PE).
• Experience managing TxDOT projects and PS&E development.
• Proficient with OpenRoads and ProjectWise.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager and oversee delivery of transportation projects.
• Develop, oversee, and monitor project activities including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate subconsultants.
• Mentor, supervise, and develop project engineers and technical staff; participate in engineering organizations.
• Conduct business development efforts for transportation clients including TxDOT, NTTA and others.
• Lead or support transportation pursuits, interviews, and proposal development; engage with clients at industry events.
