Job summary

Horner & Shifrin in Salt Lake City, UT seeks a full-time Senior Roadway Project Manager with 10+ years in transportation. Lead planning, design and delivery of roadway projects, coordinate clients and staff, manage budgets and schedules, and develop business in Utah.

Qualifications include PE in Utah preferred, experience with Utah DOT and municipalities, proficiency in Civil3D/OpenRoads/CAD, MS Office, strong communication, valid driver's license, and ability to pass background checks. B.S.

Qualifications

• Experience with Utah Department of Transportation and local municipalities.
• Utah PE license preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Experience using CAD platforms (MicroStation or AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of highway design packages (OpenRoads, Geopak, Civil3D).
• Critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Interact and communicate with clients, vendors and staff at all levels.
• Lead, manage and schedule staff to meet project needs.
• Track multiple projects to maintain schedule and budget.
• Lead planning, design and delivery of roadway/highway projects.
• Perform transportation engineering analyses and calculations.
• Prepare and write engineering and other reports.
• Maintain and develop client relationships.
• Develop business in the Utah region.
