Job summary

NV5 is seeking a Senior Transportation/Traffic Engineering Planner in California. The role requires 7+ years of direct transportation/traffic planning experience and a California-licensed TE or PE. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or advanced degree in City/Urban Planning.
7+ years of directly related professional work experience; California experience required.
Licensed TE or PE in California.
Experience with Synchro, Vissim, SimTraffic, VMT, and TDM.
Excellent writing and business development skills.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Complete transportation planning and traffic design studies with limited supervision.
Drive business development by building trusted client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
Mentor and train junior staff and perform QA/QC reviews.
Prepare project scopes and proposals; assist with public involvement materials.
