Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a senior professional to lead Traffic Revenue and Demand Modeling efforts in the North Region. The role involves managing complex models, guiding technical teams, and collaborating with clients on highway planning projects.

Ideal candidates have advanced degrees or certifications and extensive experience in traffic engineering, data analysis, and project leadership, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban, Community or Regional Planning or related discipline.
• AICP, PTP, PE, CEP or approved certification in a related field.
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Transportation, or a related field.
• 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 9 years of experience with Master's degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performing Traffic Revenue and Demand Modeling for toll agencies throughout the North Region, including potentially being the Project Technical Leader for Traffic Revenue and Demand Modeling Projects.
• Performing traffic and revenue studies for planned and existing facilities by applying socioeconomic and travel demand analysis, conducting surveys, and using other methods.
• Executing Advanced Data Analysis: Analyzing large data sets in support of Traffic and Revenue studies and Demand Management studies, as well as in support of highway planning projects more broadly.
• Performing overall task management, and QA/QC procedures.
• Coordinating all aspects of the project with our clients and mentoring technical staff.
