Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Senior Transportation Planner to join our Washington area team, based in Bellevue or Seattle.

The role focuses on planning world-class transportation choices and communicating strategically to support analysis and decision making. The successful candidate will have deep experience in transit planning, stakeholder engagement, and multi-discipline coordination, with the ability to manage multiple projects and co-locate with clients as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Planning, Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years' experience with transportation planning.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of large multidiscipline transportation planning and environmental projects.
• Interface with client staff and leadership.
• Lead marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
• Demonstrate extensive public participation, agency coordination, planning and programming experience.
• Coordinate staffing and workload to complete documents on schedule.
• Perform other duties as needed.
