Qualifications

• Master's degree in Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Professional Engineer or Professional Planner registration desirable.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in transportation planning and analysis.
• Experience with transportation modeling software and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of transportation economics, policy, and environmental considerations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Project management experience and ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and development of transportation studies including feasibility, corridor and master plans.
• Forecast travel demand and run traffic simulations with advanced modeling software.
• Analyze data, identify congestion points, and propose operational improvements.
• Develop recommendations for road networks, public transport, and active transport.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and policy recommendations for clients.
• Collaborate with urban planners and engineers to integrate transportation with land use.
• Manage project scope, budget and schedule; mentor junior staff.
• Engage with clients, government officials and community groups to elicit input.
• Stay current with ITS, shared mobility and sustainable transport trends; ensure regulatory compliance.
