Qualifications

• Knowledge of transportation engineering principles and practices, permitting procedures, contract production and administration.

Responsibilities

• Supervises employees, motivating, training and evaluating staff.
• Directs hiring, transfers, suspensions, promotions and disciplinary actions for subordinates.
• Plans workloads, deadlines, objectives and time utilization with subordinate staff.
• Ensures subordinates receive training in safe methods and procedures.
• Oversees administration of maintenance program, contracts, production, and permits.
• Liaises with the public and other agencies on maintenance issues.
