Job summary

You will plan, monitor, and execute freight activities, manage both private and outsourced fleets, and partner with finance to control costs while maintaining safety and service levels.

Responsibilities include managing a $14+ million P&L, budgeting for transportation replenishment, optimizing fleet utilization, using FMS and TMS tools, and leading a small team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
• 3+ years of transportation experience, including inbound/outbound.
• Certifications in logistics or transportation are a plus.
• Leadership experience managing teams and/or projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transportation operations and P&L accountability.
• Manage onsite and 3rd-party transportation teams.
• Optimize fleet utilization and carrier compliance.
• Use TMS/FMS/WMS and ERP to plan and control freight.
• Ensure DOT compliance and safety standards.
• Lead continuous improvement and project initiatives.
