The Senior Resident Engineer (SRE) at the Arizona Department of Transportation supervises two units and oversees complex construction contracts to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and regulations. The role includes engineering direction, staff management, and coordination of consultant services.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety processes, administering personnel actions, and aligning district objectives with construction practices.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Three to five years of work related experience in a technical-level staff position involving engineering analysis and highway construction.
• Leadership and supervisory experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide engineering and technical direction for administration of multiple complex construction contracts to ensure work meets design intent and safety standards.
• Perform personnel management, evaluation, discipline, hiring, termination and guidance of staff according to policies.
• Set work standards within the unit to achieve district and division objectives and coordinate during winter storms or emergencies.
