Job summary

Haskell, a national Top Workplace and leader in transportation design, seeks a senior transportation engineer to lead MoDOT projects from our St. Louis office. You will drive budgets, scopes, and design production while mentoring the team and coordinating with subconsultants.

You will work with a director who has 30+ years of MoDOT experience, grow business opportunities, and contribute to the expansion of our Missouri transportation practice in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of transportation design experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Experience with geometric design, drainage design, construction sequencing and utility relocation coordination.
• Transportation design project management experience.
• Strong communications, negotiations, management, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge in budgeting, scheduling, proposal writing, staffing, coordination, forecasting, conflict resolution, and change management.

• Managing the design and production of transportation plans while assuring conformance to design document standards and criteria
