Job summary

IMEG Corp is hiring a Senior Transportation Engineer to lead design efforts for moderate to complex transportation projects across our Illinois offices in Rockford, Naperville, or Chicago. You will provide project direction, engineering solutions, and client advice to improve transportation systems, enhance safety, and optimize infrastructure in public and private sectors.

Responsibilities include leading design for highways, bridges, transit, and multimodal networks; overseeing technical work;

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license required.
• 7 years minimum experience in building design consulting; 16 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for highways, bridges, transit, and multimodal networks.
• Provide advanced technical oversight for transportation design and support project teams through delivery.
• Perform site assessments and develop detailed analysis and technical reports.
• Partner with clients to understand project needs, define requirements, communicate technical information, and maintain relationships.
• Review designs, calculations, specifications, and project correspondence to support quality control.
