• Acts as project manager for complex regional priority projects with Measure D and other funding.
• Leads consultant selection, bid processes, and contract management for assigned projects.
• Mentors staff and may supervise as needed.
• Contributes policy recommendations on agency priorities.
• Prepares or oversees studies, designs, calculations, cost estimates, and maps.
• Performs professional transportation engineering work in field and office; may act as resident engineer.
• Makes presentations to public/private/government bodies with technical data and advice.
• Prepares staff reports and complex project documents.
