Job summary
GRAEF, based in Minneapolis, MN, seeks a Transportation Engineer to design and advance highway and roadway projects within a multi-disciplinary team. You will mentor junior engineers, interact with clients, and help grow business with MnDOT partners.
The role emphasizes technical leadership, adherence to MnDOT standards, and pursuing project opportunities while delivering high-quality design packages. Flexible schedule and some remote work options are available.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of transportation engineering design experience.
- Knowledge of MnDOT design standards.
- MN PE license is required.
- Experience with project management for MnDOT projects.
- Experience in business development and proposal development is a plus.
- Strong communication and client collaboration skills.
- Experience mentoring staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and advancement of transportation projects.
- Serve as technical resource for multi-disciplinary teams.
- Prepare highway/roadway plans, specs, and estimates.
- Develop sewer plans, reports, and permitting.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with clients.
