Job summary

Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE) seeks a Senior Transportation Engineer/Project Manager to lead aviation design efforts across the Southeast. The role supports airfield and landside facilities, supervises designers, and coordinates with disciplines under the Aviation Service Director.

The ideal candidate has a related bachelor's degree, 4+ years in aviation design (10+ for senior levels), and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 4 years of aviation design experience; FAA standards knowledge preferred.
• Senior positions available for candidates with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in design programs such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design runways, taxiways, aprons and other airfield projects using FAA Advisory Circulars.
• Design landside facilities such as roads, parking, and utilities.
• Supervise designers and CADD technicians.
• Perform civil design using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related tools.
• Coordinate with other disciplines under the Aviation Service Director.
• Manage construction projects as the owner’s representative.
• Obtain permits from local municipalities and statewide agencies.

Senior Transportation Engineer — Aviation

We are seeking a self-motivated Senior Transportation Engineer/Project Managerto support our aviation projects. The engineer may choose to work from any of our ICE offices across the Southeast. ICE has a highly successful operation in Florida and Louisiana with numerous on-call contracts, and a healthy backlog of work. Relocation will be paid for qualified candidates. Hybrid of Office and Work from Home available.

Position Responsibilities

As Senior Transportation Engineer/Project Manager , the daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Design runways, taxiways, aprons and other airfield projects using FAA Advisory Circulars
• Design landside facilities such as roads, parking, and utilities
• Supervise designers and CADD technicians
• Performs and/or leads civil design using knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Works with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of the Aviation Service Director.
• Manage construction projects as the owner’s representative
• Obtain permits from local municipalities and statewide agencies

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 4 years of aviation design experience with detailed knowledge of FAA standards is preferred.
• Senior positions are available for candidates with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in design programs is preferred (AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Microsoft Excel, etc.).
• Ability to efficiently complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision with a focus on client service.
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness and ability to learn new job skills.
