Position Summary

A well-established civil engineering firm known for its trusted advisor approach is seeking to add a Senior Transportation Engineer/Project Manager to their team. This role involves leading a team in the design and planning of public agency transportation projects for clients such as Caltrans, cities, and counties throughout California.

Core Responsibilities

• Leading and managing project deliverables (geometrics, design calculations, reports, specifications, cost estimates).
• Coordinating teams, managing client and stakeholder relationships, and ensuring quality control.
• Providing solutions to optimize transportation networks.
• Contributing to business development, including writing proposals and seeking new opportunities.
• Mentoring team members and engaging in professional development.

Position Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Experience: 10+ years in civil transportation design.
• Skills: Proficiency with MicroStation or Civil 3D.
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage a team and engage in business development.
