Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• One year of experience operating a commercial vehicle preferred.
• Valid Class C Driver's License with satisfactory MVR.
• CDL not required but preferred; CPR certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, reliable transportation for senior adults to and from the Senior Life Center and medical appointments.
• Operates City vehicles with emphasis on passenger safety and customer service.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections and coordinates basic vehicle maintenance.
• Assists passengers, including those with mobility devices, and ensures proper securing of mobility equipment.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and assists with setup, events, and meal service at the center.
• Adheres to HIPAA guidelines to protect client privacy and participates in safety protocols.
