Job summary

Stanley Consultants, Inc. in West Palm Beach, FL seeks a Senior Transportation Drainage Engineer to lead drainage/stormwater design on major transportation projects.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with project teams, and advance hydraulic analyses and permitting in a hybrid office/remote setting. The role requires 5+ years of drainage design in roadway projects, a BS in Civil Engineering, and a Florida PE or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Florida Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum 5 years of roadway stormwater drainage design experience.
• Experience with FDOT drainage design requirements and policies.
• Proven ability to produce comprehensive roadway drainage designs and calculations.
• Familiar with SFWMD/SJRWMD permit requirements and processes.
• Proficiency with Open Roads Designer and Civil 3D for roadway design.

Responsibilities

• Serve as drainage and stormwater technical lead on major transportation projects.
• Provide design oversight, calculations, plans, specs, and details.
• Prepare detention facilities, culverts, and related infrastructure designs.
• Use hydraulics/hydrology models to evaluate improvements.
• Prepare project scoping, estimates, proposals, and participate in interviews.
