Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• PE license required.
• 10+ years of transportation engineering experience.
• Roadway/highway design experience required.
• Experience with Connecticut DOT preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple transportation design projects, for municipal and state clients.
• Oversee all phases of project delivery—from planning and design through construction.
• Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Coordinate internal teams and workload planning.
• Support business development efforts, including proposals and client strategy.
• Provide technical expertise in roadway/highway design and construction management.
• Perform QA/QC reviews to maintain high-quality deliverables.
• Identify risks and resolve technical and project challenges.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and project managers.
• Support recruitment and team growth initiatives with leadership.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for DOT agencies and project stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and project updates.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business.
