Job summary

TLN Worldwide Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Strategic Communication Outreach Specialist to develop and execute integrated communications, marketing, and stakeholder engagement strategies for FHWA RD&T initiatives and related publications.

You will translate complex transportation research into clear, high-impact content for technical and non-technical audiences, while managing campaigns across digital, print, and events to expand readership and participation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Public Affairs, or related field.
• 6–10 years of progressively responsible professional experience in strategic communications, digital marketing, public affairs, outreach, or stakeholder engagement.
• Experience developing and executing campaigns across multiple channels.
• Experience creating social media campaigns, newsletters, web content, and marketing collateral.
• Experience conducting market research, audience analysis, or campaign measurement.
• Strong writing, editing, messaging, and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into accessible content.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated communications and outreach plans.
• Design campaigns to increase readership, engagement, and participation.
• Support communications initiatives across digital, print, web, email, social media, newsletters, events.
• Create messaging strategies, briefs, calendars, and marketing materials.
• Lead marketing efforts to grow readership and subscriptions for related publications.
• Coordinate promotions and outreach for targeted issues.
• Write and edit social media posts, newsletters, web copy, and briefing materials.
• Conduct market research, audience analysis, and campaign performance assessments.
• Use analytics to improve outreach impact and data-informed decisions.
• Develop stakeholder engagement plans with transportation partners and research audiences.
• Support internal communications and employee engagement.
• Provide outreach, branding, and communications support for events.
