Job summary

HDR's Transportation Business Group is seeking a communications professional to help shape content that informs and inspires across channels. You’ll collaborate with engineers, designers and subject matter experts to produce compelling narratives about highways, bridges, rail, and transit programs.

You will ghost write blogs and articles, develop collateral, manage events, and coordinate teams to deliver timely materials.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in communications, content development or related field.
• Experience writing for technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing content and communications plans to engage audiences across channels.
• Collaborate with internal partners to drive global and local communications strategies.
• Develop and write white papers, feature articles and social media posts with SMEs.
• Ghost write and edit blogs, papers and presentations by subject matter experts.
• Help develop collateral pieces and marketing campaign materials.
• Research, write and edit project narratives and case studies.
• Coordinate event management activities and employee training.
• Monitor industry best practices and maintain a trend repository.
• Manage communications database information and web-based tools.
• Coordinate multi-discipline teams in deliverable production.
• Perform other duties as needed.
