Charger Logistics Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Claims & Litigation Paralegal – Transportation to join our in-house Legal Department. This person will work closely with in-house counsel and outside litigation counsel in managing a significant portfolio of U.S.

transportation-related litigation and claims. You will coordinate immediate evidence preservation after significant accidents, review records and documentation, prepare litigation filings, assist with discovery, and maintain

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation, claims or senior paralegal experience.
• Strong preference for trucking/transportation litigation, commercial-auto liability or insurance-defence experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. litigation/discovery and related documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support transportation litigation/claims including bodily injury, property damage and catastrophes.
• Coordinate evidence preservation after accidents: records, telematics, dashcams, photos, and reports.
• Review accident reports and claim documents; prepare litigation chronologies.
• Under attorney supervision, draft answers, affidavits, notices and motions.
• Assist with discovery: interrogatories, requests for production, subpoenas.
• Prepare exhibits, summaries, deposition materials and trial binders.
• Maintain litigation files, calendars and track deadlines.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and internal departments; monitor budgets and invoices.
